At your first appointment I will carry out a full consultation including photos and video of your dog checking gait and posture. For the comfort and wellbeing of your dog you will need to be present for the duration of the treatments.
Once your first booking is made you will be provided with pre and post treatment information. We use a choice-led treatment called Positive Pact to facilitate your dog to have freedom of movement throughout the process.
During the treatment I will give you massage techniques to carry out at home, exercises and advice on adaptions for the home environment and activities, working to achieve the best outcome for your dog.
If you have any questions before your dog’s first treatment, please contact me and I will be more than happy to talk everything through with you.
Please allow approximately 1 hour for each treatment. The number of treatments needed will be discussed with you during the first session as each dog’s condition and their response to treatment varies. A typical programme involves 3 to 4 treatments, with each one being 7-10 days apart.

Facilitating the dog to have freedom of movement, during the treatment process. It allows a dog to have autonomy over their own body and therefore autonomy over treatment of areas of painful chronic muscular issues or dysfunction. They are able to control the intensity and pace of treatment, enabling areas to be treated that would otherwise be highly resistant to any form of contact.
